CONDITIONS OVERVIEW
The following is an overview of our complete terms and
conditions, which are contained in a Rental Agreement you will be
required to execute as part of the reservation process. The written
and executed Rental Agreement will take precedence over this
overview in case of any dispute.
Currency
All charges and payments are in U.S. dollars. Wire transfer,
traveler’s check, money order, cashier’s check, personal check, or
Visa, MasterCard, American Express are the only acceptable forms of
payment. Credit cards require an additional four percent (4%)
administrative fee. Other forms of payment are not acceptable
without prior agreement by Golden Treasures. Full payment for all incidental
expenses, including food and alcohol, are required before check-out.
Meal Plan
Each of the Properties we represent offer different meal plans
that largely fall into one of the three following categories. The
meal plans available in our villas vary from villa to villa so
please check with your rental agent prior to making arrangements.
- Full Meal Plan - Many of the Properties we
represent are very exclusive luxury vacation rental homes. These
vacation homes have mandatory meal plans priced on a per person
basis (varies by age) designed to provide you with a broad array
of fine foods and beverages throughout your stay. Mandatory meal
plans cover all three main daily meals as well as snacks offered
virtually any time. A sample menu will be provided as part of
your reservation confirmation so you can adjust it to fit your
individual tastes and needs (remember to highlight food
allergies)
- Pre-Stocked Self Catered Meal Plan –
Shopping in a foreign country is often more adventurous than you
may want since locating fresh vegetables, fruits and meats can
be a challenge for a non-local. We do the shopping for you to
pre-stock the villa with the food and beverages of your choice.
Our villa concierge will contact you in advance of your arrival
so you can provide the necessary shopping list. Upon arrival
your villa will already be stocked, ready for you to do your own
meal preparations. Your fee is a fixed daily fee in addition to
the actual cost of the food purchased for you.
- Self Catered Meal Plan – If available, the
Self-Catered Meal Plan is designed to allow you to shop for and
prepare all of your own meals. A daily fixed fee is charged for
the use of the kitchen. You do all of your own shopping and meal
preparation throughout your stay.
The cost of meal plans may vary from villa to villa and will be
confirmed as part of the reservation process.
Gratuities
The staff members at the Properties are all exceptionally hard
working and dedicated to your total enjoyment, satisfaction and
relaxation during your vacation with us. To help compensate them for
their extraordinary efforts, Golden Treasures requires a minimum gratuity, shown
on your invoice, to be paid at the start of your stay with us. We
charge this in advance to help you budget all anticipated expenses
in advance.
Check-In / Check-Out
Check in time is 3:00pm on the day of arrival and check out is
11:00am on the date of departure unless special arrangements are
made with Golden Treasures in advance.
External Service Providers
As a courtesy to our clients, Golden Treasures provides access to external
service providers including, but not limited to, local ground
transportation, spa services, entertainment and excursions. You
should understand that Golden Treasures is bound by agreements with these service
providers to collect payments in advance for selected services.
However, Golden Treasures has no authority over the actual pricing of these
services and makes no warranty, written or implied, as to the actual
fees you will be charged at the time the services are utilized. As
an additional courtesy, Golden Treasures will make reasonable efforts to inform
you of any significant price changes but changes in those prices
will not terminate, cancel or modify your reservation commitment.
Waiver and Release from Liability
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO EXECUTE A WAIVER AND RELEASE FROM
LIABILITY AS PART OF THE RESERVATION PROCESS. As an overview, all
guests in the Properties will be required to waive and release,
indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge the Property owner,
Golden Treasures and their respective owners, agents, staff, employees, officers,
directors, affiliates, successors and assigns, of and from any and
all claims, demands, debts, contracts, expenses, causes of action,
lawsuits, damages and liabilities, of every kind and nature,
including any claims of owner or employee negligence, whether known
or unknown, in law or equity, that you ever had or may have, arising
from or in any way related to participation in any of the events or
activities, and for the duration of the stay at the Property,
conducted by, on the premises of, or for the benefit of, the
Property provided that this waiver of liability does not apply to
any acts of gross negligence, or intentional, willful or wanton
misconduct.
Special Events
Weddings and other special events will involve bringing in
outside services such as caterers, bartenders, cooks, musicians,
servers, etc. at the sole discretion of Golden Treasures. All special events must
be arranged through Golden Treasures and additional fees paid to
Golden Treasures prior to the
special event. The exact pricing for the coordination of these
special events depends upon the event itself and will be quoted as
requested and prior to your reservation commitment. Additional
contractual arrangements may also be necessary.
Refunds & Cancellations
Once reservations have been confirmed, all monies are committed
to the rental and no cash refunds are available. Golden Treasures will provide
80% credit of these monies for up to one (1) year against any
private villa offered by Golden Treasures providing a cancellation is received no
less than 70 days prior to arrival, after which time no credit will
be provided. However, 100% of any security deposit will be refunded
upon any cancellation prior to arrival.
A full refund is available if the villa is determined by Golden
Treasures to
be unrentable due to some unforeseen circumstances. For peace of
mind, we highly recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance
from your travel agent or broker. |
