Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1972, Edward Rivas worked for the telecommunications industry, before moving into luxury real estate in the North coast of the island. Since 2004, he has been involved in the rental and sale of ocean and beach front villas in top locations of Sosua, Cabarete, Puerto Plata, Cofresi and Cabrera. His selection of listings is one of the most complete and representative of the North Coast, and includes the top luxury villas in the most prestigious gated communities.

Edward Rivas’s background in marketing and photography has served as the motorizing agent for an extensive media campaign on Sosua and the North Coast, having produced a large quantity of stunning aerial and ground level images and videos of properties, landscape and attractions of the North Coast.

Golden Treasures Real Estate has also pioneered the mass production of property videos, both for villa rentals and sales; and the use of high quality, ultra-wide angle photography using professional equipment and techniques.
