The villa Interior
Inside, the living room is decorated with a blue L-shaped sofa and two upholstered armchairs of tropical prints; a round tree trunk coffee table, all over a brown carpet that actually feels a bit retro, looking good. The kitchen sits on a corner, built of a light burnt oak wood with black counter tops, center island and stainless steel appliances. The Dining Area & Outdoor Kitchen
The wine rack over the fridge is perfect to place the weekend collection, if you measure 5`7″ or higher. Nautical motif framed art is a reminder of Sosua as a beach destination, and outside by the outdoor BBQ area a dinner table for 10 beautifully matches the beach life framed art in the walls. The outdoor kitchen has granite top, high stools, mini fridge and cabinet areas. The white sofas with wood trims match the rest of the furniture, giving the villa a hinted sense of a beach house.
The Deck and Swimming Pool
Just steps away, the villa private swimming pool becomes the entertainment center for family and friends, with its shallow ledge and spacious coral deck. As in most new villas, a banana-leaves woven wall keeps the privacy from the neighbors while the tropical plants grow larger and thicker. Under the blue Sosua sky, the house embodies the great simplicity of many new contemporary homes built in Sosua ( see the Sosua real estate page ).
The Bedrooms, Baths & Essentials
The bedrooms of the villa follow the same aesthetic principles and fine décor: elegant furniture, linens, towels, sliding curtains with blackout, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. The bathrooms are just as modern, with floor to ceiling ceramic walls, fine wooden cabinets and imported fixtures. Safety lid WC with eco friendly double push buttons ( saves water ) conveniently show we care for the environment, and clean towels and toiletries ready for the guests are included in the rentals. The Villa Location
The villa is located in a prestigious gated community of Sosua, just 6 minutes by car from Sosua Beach, the supermarkets, clubs, restaurants and attractions. Cabarete beach is about the same distance going right, and Puerto Plata about 20 minutes away. The closest airport to this villa is POP ( Gregorio Luperon ) about a 12 minute drive away.
